Kitchen Helper

We are looking for a hardworking, reliable, and enthusiastic Kitchen Helper to support our kitchen team with daily food preparation, cleaning, and kitchen operations. The successful candidate will help maintain cleanliness, organize kitchen supplies, prepare ingredients, and ensure that food safety and hygiene standards are followed.

Previous kitchen experience is an advantage, but candidates who are willing to learn and work as part of a team are welcome to apply.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist chefs and cooks with basic food preparation tasks.
  
• Wash, peel, chop, and prepare vegetables, fruits, and other ingredients as instructed.
  
• Measure and organize ingredients according to kitchen requirements.
  
• Clean and sanitize kitchen counters, utensils, equipment, and preparation areas.
  
• Wash dishes, pots, pans, and other kitchen tools when required.
  
• Store ingredients and supplies in designated areas.
  
• Check food items for freshness and report damaged or expired products.
  
• Assist with receiving and organizing kitchen deliveries.
  
• Follow food storage, labeling, and stock rotation procedures.
  
• Maintain proper personal hygiene and wear required protective clothing.
  
• Follow food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety procedures.
  
• Dispose of kitchen waste properly and keep work areas clean.
  
• Refill kitchen supplies and report shortages to the supervisor.
  
• Support kitchen opening, closing, and deep-cleaning activities.
  
• Coordinate with kitchen and service staff during busy periods.
  
• Perform other kitchen-related duties assigned by the supervisor.
  
  
  
  

Requirements


Educational Qualifications

• Basic education or high school education is preferred.
  
• Food safety or kitchen hygiene training is an advantage.
  
  

Experience Requirements

• Previous experience as a Kitchen Helper, Kitchen Assistant, Dishwasher, or similar role is preferred.
  
• Experience in restaurants, hotels, cafés, or catering businesses is an advantage.
  
• Freshers willing to learn are welcome to apply.
  
• UAE hospitality experience is preferred but not mandatory.
