Job Summary
This role is for a Continuous Improvement (CI) Manager responsible for driving site-wide operational excellence through structured problem-solving, Lean methodologies, and cultural transformation. The position requires a hands-on leader with expertise in Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen, and performance analytics. As a key driver of productivity and efficiency, this role will establish a multi-year CI roadmap, lead high-impact improvement projects, and support cross-functional teams in identifying and resolving systemic issues.
- Responsibilities:
- Ensure compliance with cGMP, EHS, data integrity, and all regulatory requirements.
- Implement company policies, systems, and procedures effectively while ensuring alignment with organizational priorities and strategic goals.
- Maintain discipline, safety standards, and adherence to SOPs on the shop floor.
- Lead OE diagnostic session to identify ideas to improve OPEX, TVC.
- Facilitate LMS (Lean Management System) idea generation, evaluation, implementation, and sustainability.
- Conduct plant capacity analysis and develop improvement plans to maintain a minimum 1.3X flexible manufacturing capacity.
- Monitor Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE), identify major losses, and drive improvement projects to enhance equipment performance.
- Monitor and optimize Productivity metrics & improve it to reach TD.
- Establish annual SDP KPI baselines, set targets, and drive action plans to achieve business objectives.
- Track Requirement vs Capacity vs Actual (R vs C vs A) performance, analyze gaps, and implement corrective actions to improve manufacturing efficiency.
- Identify process bottlenecks and implement solutions to reduce Door-to-Ship (D2S) lead time for critical products.
- Drive Value Stream Mapping (VSM), Kaizen, Lean projects, and continuous improvement initiatives across manufacturing operations.
- Collaborate with Production, Engineering, Quality, Warehouse, Planning, and Supply Chain teams to achieve plant performance objectives.
- Lead automation, digitalization, and process improvement projects to enhance operational efficiency and reliability.
- Support production planning and prioritization to maximize throughput and minimize delays.
- Lead TPM deployment across manufacturing and engineering functions in alignment with corporate TPM roadmap.
- Implement and sustain Autonomous Maintenance (Jishu Hozen) pillars, driving progression through TPM maturity levels and achieving targeted JH steps.
- Strengthen Planned Maintenance systems through preventive, predictive, and condition-based maintenance practices.
- Drive initiatives to achieve Zero Breakdown, Zero Defect, Zero Accident, and Zero Waste objectives.
- Develop and monitor equipment health indicators, maintenance KPIs, and asset robustness metrics.
- Facilitate Root Cause Analysis (RCA), FMEA, CAPA, and reliability improvement programs for critical equipment.
- Build operator and maintenance team capability through TPM training, coaching, and competency development programs.

Educational Qualification
Graduation in Mechanical, Industrial, Chemical Engineering, Pharmacy or related field is mandatory.
Certification in Lean Six Sigma (Green Belt) and Lean Six Sigma (Black Belt) is preferred.
JIPM certification is preferred.
