Lending Product Strategy Manager

About the Role:

This role is responsible for leading the strategy, performance, and evolution of SBS Bank’s home lending portfolio by delivering exceptional customer experiences, shaping product propositions, and optimising pricing and roadmap investments to achieve sustainable commercial outcomes.

What you’ll be busy with:

• Developing and executing home lending product strategy and roadmap, ensuring alignment with growth objectives, customer needs and business strategy.
• Leading the design of the Banks's future-state home lending proposition through the Future Bank programme.
• Partnering with technology, operations, digital, marketing and delivery teams to define and execute roadmap priorities and transformation initiatives.
• Designing end-to-end customer experience for home lending, connecting brand, strategy, technical streams to drive simple, seamless and engaging journeys across customer channels.
• Ensuring all home lending products and propositions comply with internal policy, legislative and regulatory requirements.

What you’ll bring:

• Banking industry knowledge coupled with a relevant tertiary qualification or equivalent experience
• Substantial product management planning, strategy and operations experience
• Sound experience in product management and performance
• Conversant with relevant consumer banking and financial regulatory regimes

This role is full time, fixed term until the end of December 2027. It is based at our Head Officer in Invercargill. Relocation assistance may be provided for the successful candidate if required.
