YOUR ROLE You will practise in accordance with your scope of practice, professional standards, and Vitalité Health Network policies and procedures. Your responsibilities will include: • assessing patients; • contributing to care planning; • implementing nursing interventions; • monitoring patients’ health status; and • evaluating care outcomes. Requirements CANDIDATE PROFILE You must: • hold a recognized diploma in practical nursing; • be a member in good standing of a Canadian professional nursing association; • be a member in good standing, or eligible for registration, with the Association of New Brunswick Licensed Practical Nurses; • hold a valid Basic Life Support (BLS) certificate; • be proficient in French and able to communicate verbally in English; • be able to work both independently and as part of a team; • have the physical ability to perform the work; • have a good performance and attendance record; and • be legally authorized to work in Canada and New Brunswick. RELEVANT TRAINING The successful candidate must complete the nursing certification programs specific to the Hemodialysis Unit within the prescribed timelines. Training or experience in hemodialysis, nephrology, or caring for patients with kidney disease is considered an asset.
