Job Summary
UHB has a highly successful Locally Employed Doctor (LED) training programme, introduced in 2008 and now invites applications for core training in medical specialities. Appointable candidates will be aligned with vacancies commencing as soon as possible until February 2028.
Following a highly acclaimed Emergency/Acute Medicine programme UHB have now launched our LED Core Training Programme. The programme is aimed at training doctors in the competencies required for the successful completion of core training in General Medicine or ACCS. The posts include training in all the competencies required by the respective Royal College for either core medical training, ACCS training or core surgical training and includes rotational placements in key medical specialties as a rotational LED.

Job Description
The rotation will be based at either the Heartlands, Good Hope sites inititially with later availability at QEHB or Solihull.
The terms and conditions of service are UHB terms for Locally Employed Doctors as amended from time to time.
Applicants must have substantive NHS experience, valid ALS and Part 1 of a membership exam.

**Note that CT & FY2 level opportunities could be available and grades will be determined following interview.**
