Machine Learning Engineer

Pittsburgh, PA | Onsite | $125k–$175k + equity

We’re working with a startup building technology to detect defects and improve manufacturing. They’re looking for a junior to mid-level Machine Learning Engineer to build and deploy models, manage data pipelines, and keep systems running reliably in production.

Requirements:

• Python, OpenCV, and scikit-image.
• Deep learning experience and strong ML fundamentals.
• A hands-on approach, ownership, and comfort figuring things out independently.

Experience valued, in order of priority:

1. Vision-language models, zero/few-shot classification, and prompt-driven anomaly detection.
2. Software and data engineering.
3. Computer vision.
4. Classical machine learning.

Nice to have: CUDA, AWS/Azure, and edge deployment.

Onsite five days a week (flexible). Relocation assistance available; visa sponsorship considered
