You’ll set up, operate, monitor, and adjust production equipment, including an injector machine, while keeping the production line running safely and efficiently. Responsibilities include machine operation, quality checks, basic troubleshooting, food safety, sanitation, and maintaining a clean work area. Ideal for candidates with experience in manufacturing, warehouse, production, machine operation, food processing, meat processing, packaging, assembly, or equipment operation. We’re looking for a dependable Machine Operator to join our pork production and food manufacturing team. In this role, you’ll operate an injector machine used during the pork production process and help keep the production line running safely and efficiently.

If you have experience working as a Machine Operator, Production Worker, Production Associate, Equipment Operator, Warehouse Associate, Manufacturing Associate, Packaging Operator, or Food Production Worker, your experience may be a great fit.

No pork processing experience? Candidates with machine operating, manufacturing, production, food processing, packaging, or similar warehouse experience are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Set up, start, operate, and monitor the injector machine during production.
• Load or supply the machine with the product and ingredients needed for production.
• Monitor machine settings, speed, and performance to make sure equipment is operating correctly.
• Make basic adjustments to the machine when needed.
• Inspect pork products throughout the process to make sure they meet quality standards.
• Keep product moving efficiently through the production line.
• Identify machine problems and communicate equipment or maintenance issues to the appropriate team.
• Complete basic production and quality checks.
• Follow all food safety, sanitation, GMP, and workplace safety procedures.
• Clean and sanitize the machine, equipment, and surrounding work area.
• Assist with production, packaging, material handling, or other manufacturing duties as needed.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe production area.

What We’re Looking For

• Previous machine operator, manufacturing, production, warehouse, food processing, packaging, or equipment operation experience is preferred.
• Comfortable working around production machinery and equipment.
• Basic mechanical ability and willingness to learn how to operate and adjust equipment.
• Ability to follow instructions and production procedures.
• Strong attention to safety, quality, and detail.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Dependable and able to work effectively as part of a production team.

• Ability to read, write, and enter data in English

• Strong communication and teamwork skills

• Lockout/Tagout certification (or willingness to obtain)

• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs and work in a fast-paced environment
  
  

Work Environment

This position works in a food manufacturing and pork processing facility. Team members work around production equipment and moving machinery and may work in refrigerated or temperature-controlled areas. The position requires standing for extended periods and performing repetitive production tasks.
