Boeing Hungary IncorporatedBoeing is looking for Maintenance Controller (Level 2) to join the team in Papa, Hungary.
Controls the maintenance and repairs of aircraft, aircraft components and support equipment. Contributes to the creation and maintenance of aircraft maintenance schedules. Supports coordination of materials, tools, aircraft components and support equipment requisitioning, receipt and allocation. Supports collection and disposition of aircraft, components and support equipment maintenance data. Works under local CLS management supervision.
Responsibilities:
- Successful track record of working with teams and possess the ability to communicate successfully with staff at all levels.
- Provides technical field support of company products.
- Performs troubleshooting procedures for multiple systems coverage.
- Resolves maintenance and operational issues. Interprets technical documents and monitors product performance.
- Monitors product performance and makes recommendations for resolution of potential issues.
- Analyzes technical data and evaluates maintenance procedures.
- Develops and conducts ad hoc training.
- Assist in obtaining adequate answers to all technical queries.
- Assist management team and analyze maintenance and operation difficulties and recommend changes to improve the quality of the operation.
- Provide technical assistance and troubleshooting expertise to CLS team as needed to maintain C17 aircraft.
- Evaluates emergent technical issues.
- Coordinate with engineering the preparation of repair schemes and assist with the accomplishment on the aircraft.
- Intermediary representative between FETS and CLS team.
- Communicate with FETS personnel to better understand unique problems and concerns.
- Assist in developing solutions (i.e.; training, direction and data) that will resolve any deficiencies.
- Plans and controls the maintenance and repairs of aircraft, aircraft components and support equipment.
- Develops and maintains aircraft maintenance schedules (preventive/corrective maintenance, HSC).
- Managing maintenance work involves configuring job cards, work packages, and work orders to provide the detailed information that is required to perform maintenance.
- Coordinates and monitors materials, tools, aircraft components and support equipment.
- Optimizing aircraft maintenance efficiency is a key factor in ensuring safe, reliable, and cost-effective operations
Basic requirements/qualifications:
- This position is required to work one of three shifts Monday through Friday, weekends and holidays as required to support the flight line maintenance requirements.
- This role requires to work outdoors in all types of weather condition.
- Required: the ability to obtain NATO or US security clearance.
- Candidate must be able to obtain work visa depending on requirements of the country.
- Candidate must be able to meet the cultural requirements of the country as applicable.
- Strong communication skills to professionally supervise employees, communicate with management and deal with customers.
- Effective use of English language, both oral and written is required for technical communication.
- Able to interpret drawings and specifications of aircraft
Preferred qualifications:
- Education/experience typically acquired through basic education (e.g. High School diploma/GED) and typically 8 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Advanced Aircraft Systems knowledge (min C level, preferred: D level)
- An active Hungarian aircraft maintenance license is preferred.
- Bachelor's Degree preferred in Mechanical Engineering, Aeronautical Engineering, Aircraft Technology or equivalent.
