About the role Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, you will lead the maintenance of Peak critical surface fixed plant assets, including shaft hoisting systems, winders, conveyors and associated infrastructure. You will be responsible for asset reliability, team leadership and continuous improvement, ensuring safe and efficient operation of equipment essential to mine production. Roster: 8/6, 12 hours per day (Dayshift only) Location: Peak Mine, Cobar NSW Travel options Residents enjoy a balanced roster and the opportunity to settle into the family-friendly township of Cobar. Relocation support is available, along with a residential allowance DIDO if you live within an 800km radius of the Mine site which includes a travel allowance FIFO from Brisbane, Sydney or Melbourne Qualifications and experience Mechanical Trade Qualification or Engineering Degree Extensive underground mining maintenance experience Experience leading maintenance teams Experience with shaft hoisting and winder systems Exposure to conveyors and mine infrastructure Strong asset management and reliability focus Budget and contractor management experience Demonstrated safety leadership Strong communication and people leadership skills Experience with Koepe or drum winders highly regarded MAKE AN IMPACT, GET RECOGNISED – BE AN AURELIAN At Aurelia Metals, our people are at the heart of everything we do.
