Maintenance Technician - Homag CNC, Edgebanders and Panel Saws

Closet Factory of South Florida - Deerfield Beach, FL - Full-time, on-site

Schedule: [Primary shift, Monday - Friday, days], plus scheduled off-hours maintenance windows and breakdown call-ins

Closet Factory of South Florida designs, builds and installs custom closets, garages, home offices and storage across South Florida. We build our systems in our own Deerfield Beach plant on a modern HOMAG line, and we are growing. We need a full-time, on-site technician to own the uptime of that line.

Equipment you will own

• 3x HOMAG CENTATEQ N-500 nesting CNC routers, each with automatic pre-labeling and automatic material lift
• 2x HOMAG EDGETEQ S-500 edgebanders with LOOPTEQ O-300 return systems, plus a HOMAG KAL370 Ambition edgebander
• 2x panel saws: HOMAG SAWTEQ B-200 and HOLZMA HPP350
• HOMAG DRILLTEQ D-510 CNC drilling / doweling and OPTIMAT ABD050 doweling
• 2x HOMAG DRILLTEQ V-200 vertical CNC
• BACCI BMT 4-axis CNC
• Plant support systems: compressed air, vacuum, dust collection

What you will do

• Be first response on breakdowns: electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, vacuum and control faults
• Build and run the preventive maintenance program to manufacturer intervals, and keep the record: what failed, when, how long it was down, and what fixed it
• Manage critical spares so the part is on the shelf before we need it
• Work directly with HOMAG and Stiles service and remote support
• Train operators on daily and weekly first-line care and on spotting trouble early
• Help install, relocate and commission equipment as we grow
• Follow lockout / tagout and safe work practices on every job

What you bring

• 5+ years maintaining industrial CNC or automated production equipment; panel processing experience (HOMAG, HOLZMA, Weeke, Brandt, Biesse, SCM) strongly preferred
• 3-phase electrical troubleshooting from 208 to 600 V: schematics, drives, motors, sensors, safety circuits
• Mechanical depth: spindles, tool changers, ball screws, linear guides, belts, gearboxes, glue systems
• Pneumatics and vacuum systems
• Comfortable working in a machine controller and reading CNC programs (HOMAG woodWOP a strong plus)
• Pluses: HOMAG or Stiles factory training (please list the courses and the machines they covered), PLC experience, Cutrite, bilingual English / Spanish
