Join us as Manager Tax Czech Republic & Slovakia and shape the tax agenda across two dynamic markets. You will combine strategic influence with hands-on leadership, partnering with business leaders, global experts and authorities to turn complexity into sustainable business value. WHY THIS ROLE MATTERS: Lead the tax agenda across the Czech Republic and Slovakia while developing a team of experts and partnering with senior business leaders. You will shape tax strategies, guide critical decisions and turn complex regulatory requirements into practical solutions that support sustainable business growth. WHAT YOU WILL DO: Lead, motivate and develop the tax team, fostering collaboration, strong business partnership and continuous improvement. Own tax compliance across corporate income tax, VAT, excise, customs, transfer pricing, tax accounting and relevant operational licences and permissions. Define and implement tax risk-management strategies for Czech and Slovak entities, including complex cross-border operations. Act as the key contact for fiscal authorities and auditors, lead tax audits and manage communication with senior internal and external stakeholders. Advise senior leadership and cross-functional teams on business initiatives, including the launch of new product categories, restructurings and business model transformations. Translate evolving legislation into practical, efficient business processes and identify tax-planning opportunities. Connect local teams with regional and global Tax, GBS, external advisers and other experts to deliver aligned solutions. WHAT MAKES YOU SUCCESSFUL: A university degree in Tax, Economics, Business, Law, Finance or a related field. At least 8 years of tax experience, ideally gained in a multinational company, FMCG or manufacturing environment, and/or a tax advisory firm. Strong expertise across most of the following areas: excise, customs, corporate income tax, VAT, company law, transfer pricing and international tax principles. A solid understanding of accounting standards and the ability to balance regulatory requirements with operational realities. Proven leadership, influencing and collaboration skills, with confidence navigating complexity and engaging stakeholders across organizational boundaries.
