Role Summary We are seeking a skilled and proactive Manufacturing Production Line Engineer to join our clients team. This hands-on role involves maintaining, repairing, and installing production line machinery to ensure efficient manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical engineering background, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities Preventative Maintenance Conduct routine inspections and maintenance of production line machinery to minimize downtime. Implement and monitor preventative maintenance schedules. Repairs and Troubleshooting Diagnose and repair mechanical issues on production lines to ensure minimal disruption. Respond promptly to breakdowns and apply appropriate technical solutions. Installation and Upgrades Install new production lines or individual components as required. Upgrade existing equipment to improve efficiency and production capacity. Safety and Compliance Ensure all machinery complies with health and safety standards. Follow established procedures to maintain a safe and clean work environment. Collaboration and Reporting Work closely with production teams to identify potential issues and develop solutions. Document maintenance activities and provide regular updates to supervisors. Qualifications and Skills Educational Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field. Technical Expertise: In-depth knowledge of mechanical systems and tools. Hands-on experience with maintaining and repairing manufacturing machinery. Skills and Competencies: Strong diagnostic and problem-solving abilities. Proficient in using hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment. Excellent communication and teamwork skills. Additional Requirements: Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
