Experience as a mechanic, maintenance technician, equipment technician, assembler, or in another hands-on technical role may translate well to this position.
What You’ll Do
This is a hands-on role supporting the day-to-day needs of our Manufacturing operation. Your work will vary depending on what the team needs that day.
- Build and rework components using drawings, work instructions, and pick tickets
- Use hand and power tools including crimpers, wire strippers, soldering equipment, heat guns, and other production equipment
- Prepare products and materials for shipment, including packaging and organizing outgoing orders
- Move and organize materials throughout the facility using forklifts and pallet jacks
- Operate a box truck as needed
- Complete required documentation for production, shipping, maintenance, and safety
- Handle routine facility maintenance such as changing HVAC filters, addressing basic plumbing needs, replacing bulbs, and completing minor repairs
- Keep your work area clean, organized, and safe
- Follow established safety procedures and speak up when something doesn’t look or feel right
What We’re Looking For
- Previous experience operating a forklift preferred
- Previous experience driving a box truck preferred
- Experience with basic facility maintenance or general hands-on repair work
- Strong mechanical aptitude and manual dexterity
- Ability to safely and effectively use hand and power tools
- Ability to read and follow work instructions, safety requirements, and assembly drawings
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work
- Ability to organize and prioritize work as needs change
- Willingness to learn and take on a variety of responsibilities
- Ability to work independently from written or verbal instructions
Forklift certification is preferred but not required.
