About the Role

Position: Marine Connectorization Technician

Responsibilities

• Perform connectorization and cable termination activities on marine vessels and shipbuilding projects.
• Carry out installation, termination, and connection of marine electrical and instrumentation cables.
• Ensure proper routing, dressing, and securing of cables as per project specifications.
• Read and interpret cable schedules, wiring diagrams, and technical drawings.
• Conduct testing and troubleshooting of cable connections and terminations.
• Follow shipyard safety procedures and quality standards.
• Coordinate with electrical, instrumentation, and commissioning teams as required.
• Maintain proper tools, equipment, and work areas.

Qualifications

• Technical qualification or relevant vocational certification preferred.
• Relevant experience in marine, shipbuilding, ship repair, or a related industry.

Required Skills

• Hands-on experience in marine connectorization and cable termination.
• Knowledge of marine electrical cabling and connection systems.
• Ability to read electrical drawings and cable schedules.
• Good understanding of shipbuilding and shipyard work practices.
• Strong focus on safety and quality.

Preferred Skills

• Prior experience working in a shipyard or marine vessel environment.
• Experience with marine electrical, instrumentation, or cable installation works.
• Candidates with strong shipbuilding experience will be preferred.
