Mast & Rigging Specialist

At Etalentum, we are recruiting on behalf of a client company (a global leader in rigging services and marine engineering solutions) a profile with solid technical experience, organizational skills, dynamism, and initiative to join their team. The position combines high technical expertise in the maintenance and assembly of spars and rigging, along with an international project management, based in Palma de Mallorca.

Your duties and responsibilities will include:

• Planning, organizing, and executing the stepping and commissioning of rigging projects, ranging from superyachts to high-performance racing yachts.
• Hands-on maintenance, inspection, and servicing of masts, booms, rigging, and associated systems.
• Seamless coordination and communication with all parties involved in the projects (Project Managers, other Riggers, designers, contractors, and crew).
• Understanding assigned project budgets and contributing to the development of timelines, cost estimates, and commercial proposals.
• Managing and liaising across multiple international projects with stakeholders from various countries.

Requirements as a candidate:

• A highly motivated, results-oriented profile with leadership skills for project management.
• Proven experience in handling carbon fiber/composite products and performing mechanical works.
• Understanding and technical knowledge of marine hydraulic and electrical systems.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively under pressure.
• Efficient problem-solving skills and a proactive, "can-do" attitude on a daily basis.
• Valid driving license and willingness to travel internationally frequently.
• Advanced level (C1) of English required.

Required experience:

• Approximately 5 years of experience in a similar role as a Rigger or Naval Technician.
• Previous experience in professional sailing or working as a shore-based crew member.
