We are looking for an experienced Mechanical Technician with strong hands-on experience in gearboxes, winches, and industrial mechanical systems.

This is a hands-on role combining workshop operations, mechanical repair, troubleshooting, customer support, and field service.

Key Responsibilities

• Assembly, maintenance, overhaul, troubleshooting, and repair of gearboxes and winches
• Plan and coordinate workshop repair and service activities
• Coordinate subcontractors, materials, spare parts, and workshop resources
• Perform quality inspections and ensure work meets technical standards
• Support customers with repair updates and technical requirements
• Perform repairs and troubleshooting at customer sites when required
• Work closely with Sales, Engineering, Purchasing, and Operations
• Support continuous improvement in quality, safety, and productivity

Requirements

• 5+ years of relevant hands-on mechanical experience
• Proven experience with gearboxes and winches
• Strong understanding of industrial mechanical systems / drive technology
• Experience with troubleshooting and mechanical repairs
• Valid driver's license
• Willingness to travel approximately 20%, including internationally
• Strong communication and customer-service skills
• ERP/Sage and MS Office experience are a plus

No specific degree required – practical technical experience is the priority.
