JOB DESCRIPTION/TYPICAL TASK BREAKDOWN:

  • Provide program leadership and gain exposure to product management through cross-functional quality initiatives.
  • Support New Product Introduction (NPI) programs by assessing carry-over risks and potential product quality concerns.
  • Analyze incoming warranty and field performance data to identify, contain, and resolve product issues.
  • Collaborate with manufacturing teams to implement corrective actions and improve product reliability.
  • Support product issue management through data-driven decision-making and continuous improvement efforts.
  • Contribute to analytics and AI development initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and visibility into product quality trends.
  • Leverage data insights to improve issue resolution processes and strengthen customer support outcomes.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Lead projects focused on resolving field product quality issues and improving customer satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with service engineering, platform, and design control teams to identify, analyze, and resolve product quality concerns.
  • Drive cross-functional teams to develop and implement production and service solutions.
  • Manage project communications and provide status updates to dealers and key stakeholders.
  • Lead customer-facing commercial teams in developing product support programs and technical publications.
  • Support continuous product improvement initiatives through effective issue resolution and stakeholder engagement.
  • Ensure timely execution of corrective actions to enhance product reliability and field performance.
  • Partner with service engineering and customer-facing teams to gather and assess customer feedback on product quality issues.
  • Lead cross-functional teams through the DMAIC Continuous Product Improvement (CPI) process to deliver effective production and service solutions.
  • Engage customers, dealers, suppliers, and internal stakeholders to communicate project progress and results.
  • Develop and maintain Power BI dashboards to monitor product quality performance and identify trends.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor's Degree or Master's Degree in Engineering.
  • 2+ years of experience

REQUIRED TECHNICAL SKILLS:

  • Proven project management and leadership experience with the ability to manage multiple projects, lead cross-functional teams, and drive effective business decisions through cost, schedule, and performance trade-off analysis.
  • Strong expertise in data analytics and visualization tools, including Power BI, Tableau, or similar platforms, to support data-driven decision-making and performance monitoring.
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze complex technical issues, prioritize actions, and drive customer-focused solutions in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and team leadership skills with a focus on delivering quality and business outcomes.

DESIRED SKILLS:

  • Strong interpersonal, teamwork, and collaboration skills.
  • Excellent communication skills with experience presenting to senior leadership.
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to drive teams toward key project milestones and decisions.
  • Experience with quality systems and continuous improvement methodologies.
  • CPI Master, Six Sigma Black Belt, or Master Black Belt certification preferred.
  • Engine design, development, and technical validation experience (DFMEA, DOE).
  • Supplier relationship management and cross-functional stakeholder engagement experience.
  • Proficient in Six Sigma DMAIC methodologies and problem-solving techniques.
