The Role

As a Mechatronics Assembly Specialist, you’ll build, align, and test cutting‑edge modules and complete systems that combine mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and control components. From single‑micron adjustments to final functional checks, your work ensures every machine meets stringent performance and reliability standards.

You will:

• Assemble high‑precision mechanical and mechatronic sub‑assemblies from technical drawings, 3D models, and work instructions.
• Integrate electrical wiring, sensors, pneumatics, and motion components, ensuring flawless connectivity and routing.
• Calibrate & test completed modules using specialized equipment, documenting results and troubleshooting deviations.
• Collaborate closely with engineers, quality inspectors, and fellow technicians to drive continuous improvement and first‑time‑right builds.
• Contribute to a culture of safety, cleanliness (ISO‑class cleanrooms where applicable), and lean manufacturing practices.

In this role, your craftsmanship is front and center. Whether shaving microseconds off cycle times or refining a motion axis for nanometer‑level accuracy, you’ll see immediate, tangible results from your expertise and play a direct part in the Netherlands’ status as a global technology hub.

You combine technical depth with a meticulous eye for detail and a passion for high‑tech machinery.

You have:

• A completed MBO (EQF level 3 or 4) in Mechatronics, Mechanical Engineering, Precision Technology, or a comparable discipline.
• 2+ years of hands‑on experience in mechatronic or precision assembly (machine building, semiconductor, medical devices, or similar).
• Proficiency in reading complex mechanical drawings, electrical schematics, and pneumatic diagrams.
• Familiarity with torque tools, alignment lasers or dial indicators, and ESD/clean‑room protocols.
• Good command of English (Dutch is a plus).

Furthermore, you bring:

• A steady hand and patient, quality‑first mindset.
• Strong safety awareness and commitment to 5S/lean practices.
• Flexibility to work at different high‑tech sites across the Netherlands.
• Clear communication and a team‑oriented attitude.
