As a Medical Assistant, you'll work alongside providers and clinical teams to create an exceptional patient experience. Work Experience
What you'll need:
- Clinical support skills, including vital sign measurement, patient intake, basic procedures, and safe medication administration (within applicable licensure and scope).
- Strong patient communication and customer service skills, with the ability to provide clear instructions, respond to questions, and support diverse patient populations.
- Proficiency in electronic health records and basic computer skills for documentation, scheduling, and care coordination.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team, multitask in a fast-paced environment, and follow established clinical protocols.
- Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program or current LPN license in the state of Florida, with current BLS certification.
- Previous experience in an outpatient or hospital-based clinical setting is preferred.
- Demonstrated commitment to safety, quality, confidentiality, and continuous learning in a healthcare environment.
- The ability to obtain and maintain an accepted Certified Medical Assistant or Registered Medical Assistant certification within six months of hire.
