Member of Technical Staff, Product Engineering

About the Role

Join a product engineering team building and scaling an AI agent platform for scientific users. In this full-stack role with a frontend focus, you will turn emerging AI capabilities into fast, reliable product experiences by working closely with scientists, AI researchers, and infrastructure engineers.

What You'll Do

• Build and own product features across user interfaces, backend services, and integrations.

• Design frontend experiences for interacting with AI agents, workflows, and scientific tools.

• Develop and maintain product systems for billing, usage tracking, authentication, permissions, and account management.

• Work with scientists, AI researchers, and engineers to translate technical capabilities into intuitive product features.

• Ship quickly, incorporate feedback, and improve product quality, reliability, and performance.

• Use coding agents and AI workflows to plan and execute engineering work, including delegating tasks and fixes.

What We're Looking For

• Approximately 3 to 10 or more years of relevant experience building modern web applications and owning product features end to end.

• Proficiency in Python and TypeScript.

• Experience at a high-caliber AI startup or scale-up, or experience as a founding engineer.

• Experience designing how AI systems execute code and establishing AI-assisted engineering workflows for a team.

• Background in cross-platform applications, including desktop or mobile products, APIs, billing and metering, or enterprise SaaS.

• Experience at the intersection of AI and biology or life sciences is relevant.

Compensation & Benefits

Annual salary range: $200,000 to $300,000 USD. Visa sponsorship is available.
