Key Responsibilities

• Advise leading private equity sponsors, investors and corporate clients on sophisticated M&A and investment transactions.
• Assist with the execution of complex domestic and cross-border transactions from initial structuring through to completion.
• Draft and negotiate key transaction documents including sale and purchase agreements, shareholders' agreements and investment documentation.
• Conduct legal due diligence and provide commercially focused advice on transaction risks and structuring considerations.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues across international offices on market-leading private equity transactions.

About You

• Admitted to practice in Australia or New Zealand with 3–5 PQE in Private Equity, M&A, ideally gained within a leading top tier corporate practice.
• Excellent academics.
• Strong technical capability and experience working on sophisticated corporate and private equity transactions.
• Excellent drafting, negotiation and analytical skills with strong commercial judgment.
• A collaborative mindset with the ability to work effectively across teams and jurisdictions.
• Ambitious and commercially driven, with an interest in joining a premium global platform and gaining exposure to leading private equity sponsors and transactions.
