About the Role

Join a highly regarded Florida commercial law practice handling sophisticated real estate transactions. This mid-level role supports active deal flow across acquisitions, dispositions, and financing, working closely with experienced attorneys on complex matters for developers, investors, funds, and other institutional clients.

What You'll Do

  • Handle transactional real estate matters involving acquisitions, dispositions, and financing.

  • Draft and negotiate purchase and sale agreements, loan documents, leases, and related instruments.

  • Work with partners and practice leaders on developer-focused transactions and client matters.

  • Advise on Florida real estate matters, including local counsel work referred by out-of-state firms.

  • Support complex mixed-use, condominium redevelopment, transit-oriented development, and cross-border investment transactions.

What We're Looking For

  • Three to six years of transactional real estate experience at a major law firm or strong regional firm.

  • Experience with acquisitions, dispositions, financing, and drafting and negotiating purchase and sale agreements, loan documents, and leases.

  • A JD from an accredited U.S. law school and eligibility to sit for the Florida Bar, or current admission to the Florida Bar.

  • Strong academic credentials, including a highly ranked law school, high class rank, and law review or journal experience.

  • Leasing, development, or hospitality transaction experience is helpful.

Compensation & Benefits

Base salary is $240,000 to $365,000 annually, depending on experience. Year-end bonus eligibility is tied to a 1,900-hour billable target. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, and 401(k). Relocation assistance and Florida Bar costs are covered for eligible out-of-market hires. Visa sponsorship is not available.

Location

Fully remote within the United States, with Miami, Florida as the primary location.
