Mid-Senior Product Engineer

About the Role

Join a product engineering team at a Series A/B AI-powered staffing marketplace, applying AI agents and frontier models to real operational challenges. You will own product work across a two-sided workforce marketplace, helping automate sourcing, vetting, matching, and shift fulfillment while building reliable experiences for workers, businesses, and operations teams.

What You'll Do

• Integrate existing agents and frontier models into product workflows across worker, business, and operations applications.

• Build and own product features end to end, from API design and user experience through deployment.

• Develop scalable systems for real-time matching, automated vetting, marketplace operations, and payments.

• Partner with product, design, and engineering teammates to prioritize user problems and deliver measurable business impact.

• Contribute to technical architecture and mentor other engineers while working through early-stage ambiguity.

What We're Looking For

• Three to four years of software engineering experience, including ownership of products or features on an early-stage team.

• Experience shipping production software at scale with speed, sound product judgment, and cross-functional collaboration.

• Hands-on experience with TypeScript, React or React Native, Node.js, and/or PostgreSQL.

• Experience building or integrating agentic AI products, including LLM prompting and tool integrations.

• Strong technical fundamentals and a track record of applying technology to user and business problems.

• Background in marketplaces, matching or recommendation systems, applied AI, staffing, logistics, or other operational industries is relevant.

Compensation & Benefits

Annual salary range: $140,000 to $200,000 USD. Visa sponsorship is available.

Location

On-site in New York, New York, with a five-day in-office workweek.
