Middle C++ Developer

About the Company and Role We're looking for a Middle C++ Developer to help build and optimize low-latency trading infrastructure for cryptocurrency markets. In this role, you'll develop high-performance C++ applications, build new exchange connectivity, reduce latency across critical components, and improve the reliability of production trading systems. You'll work closely with engineering, trading, and data teams on software where every microsecond matters. Our client is a proprietary trading company specializing in high-frequency and algorithmic trading. The company develops its own trading infrastructure, market connectivity, and quantitative technologies for automated trading in cryptocurrency markets. Tech Stack: C++17/20, REST, WebSockets, FIX, Python, Kafka, AWS, Kubernetes, Kibana, Grafana, Prometheus. Location: Dubai, UAE / Poland (full-time, office-based). What We're Looking For: 3+ years of software development experience, primarily with modern C++; Experience developing high-load, low-latency applications; Strong understanding of algorithms, data structures, and design patterns; Good understanding of networking fundamentals, including REST and WebSockets. It will be a plus if you have: Knowledge of financial markets, high-frequency trading, or distributed systems; Experience with the FIX protocol; Experience with AWS, Kubernetes, Kibana, Grafana, or Prometheus; Experience with Python or Kafka. You'll likely enjoy this role if you: Take initiative and enjoy solving complex technical challenges; Pay attention to details and write reliable production code; Learn quickly and are comfortable working with unfamiliar systems; Communicate openly and enjoy collaborating with other engineers. Responsibilities: Develop and maintain connections to cryptocurrency exchanges and market data providers; Design and implement new market links and connectivity tools; Develop new features for the trading platform; Improve and maintain existing high-load, low-latency C++ applications; Continuously optimize latency across critical components of the trading platform; Improve the performance, stability, and reliability of core infrastructure as it scales; Troubleshoot market data, connectivity, and production issues; Collaborate with engineering, data, and trading teams to ensure the correct behavior of trading systems and algorithms.
