Interior Designer, Dubai

AED 15,000 to 20,000 per month

A boutique Dubai design studio, established nearly seven years ago, is hiring an Interior Designer to work on schemes from first concept through to delivery. Relocation support is available for the right person.

The studio

Founded by an architect from Dubai and an acclaimed interior designer from London, the studio has built a reputation that far outstrips its size. It is small by choice, highly creative, and trusted by a client list most larger practices would envy. Work spans luxury residential, retail and commercial, so no two projects look the same.

Why this role

  • Real involvement. You work on projects from concept to completion, alongside the founders, not three layers below them.
  • Variety. A high-end residence one month, flagship retail space the next.
  • Creative freedom, backed by budgets that let ideas survive value engineering.
  • Build your own supplier and maker network across Europe and the region, and with it a name of your own.
  • Dubai is one of the fastest-growing design markets in the world. Designers with a London grounding are in short supply here, and those who commit build careers fast.
  • A tax-free salary and a quality of life London struggles to match.

What you’ll do

  • Develop concepts, material palettes and client presentations
  • Take schemes through detailed design: layouts, joinery details, finishes and FF&E specification
  • Coordinate with architects, consultants, contractors and suppliers
  • Attend site and protect design intent through to handover

What you’ll bring

  • Degree in Interior Architecture, Interior Design or Architecture
  • Ideally 4+ years’ experience, with recent work at a respected London studio (Paris, or a major brand in the GCC, also considered)
  • A portfolio of high-budget, highly creative schemes in luxury residential, retail, commercial or hospitality, where your own contribution is clear
  • Strong concept skills backed by technical rigour: AutoCAD, SketchUp or Rhino, Adobe Creative Suite, and Enscape, V-Ray or similar
  • Confidence presenting to demanding private and commercial clients
  • A genuine intention to build a long-term career and life in Dubai

How to apply

Email your CV and a portfolio (PDF, under 10MB) showing your own work to louis@formcareers.co.uk. Applications without a portfolio won’t be reviewed. Interviews are moving quickly, and all applications are handled in confidence.
