IT STARTS HERE

Santander (www.santander.com) is evolving from a global, high-impact brand into a technology-driven organisation, and our people are at the heart of this journey. Together, we are driving a customer-centric transformation that values bold thinking, innovation, and the courage to challenge what’s possible.

This is more than a strategic shift. It’s a chance for driven professionals to grow, learn, and make a real difference.

Our mission is to contribute to help more people and businesses prosper. We embrace a robust risk culture and all our professionals at all levels are expected to take a proactive and responsible approach toward risk management.

Retail & Commercial Banking is a global business integrating all our retail and commercial banking activities to better serve our customers, improve efficiency and drive value creation.

THE DIFFERENCE YOU MAKE

Retail & Commercial Banking – Homes is looking for a Mortgage Content Manager at S3 level. This is a fixed term contract until 30 November 2027, based from London TSQ or Milton Keynes, following Santander’s hybrid working requirements.

This is a hands-on content role at the heart of our ambition to make Santander famous in the mortgage market and build a more engaged, committed customer base. You will combine copywriting, content management and content strategy, setting the direction for mortgage and home content, identifying content opportunities with SEO, and delivering high-quality work across customer and colleague channels. You will work across the end-to-end Homes experience, from mortgages to moving or improving homes, selling them, managing household bills and related services. All while helping us maintain a consistent, human and empathetic Santander tone of voice.

We’re shaping the way we work through innovation, cutting-edge technology, collaboration and the freedom to explore new ideas. To succeed in this role, you will be responsible for:

  • Own and deliver the Homes content strategy across mortgages and adjacent home-related needs, identifying customer content gaps and opportunities across the home ownership journey.
  • Lead the mortgage and first homes blog: work strategically with SEO to identify topics and search opportunities, create content plans, and write and publish articles, with the ambition of growing organic customer visits to our channels.
  • Write, edit and optimise clear, useful and engaging content across web, app and UX journeys, email, social media, literature, promotional placements, internal communications, Viva Engage and newsletters.
  • Review mortgage features, journeys and content before release, supporting the team’s delivery of first-to-market customer.
  • Use content to increase awareness, engagement and utilisation of Homes features, contributing to the objective of increasing feature utilisation and encouraging repeat customer logins.
  • Champion Santander’s human and empathetic brand tone across Homes, identifying opportunities to make customer experiences clearer, warmer and more consistent.
  • Build great relationships across Homes and partner closely with product, UX, design, SEO, brand, legal, risk and compliance teams, managing stakeholder feedback and direct compliance liaison through to approval.
  • Manage content delivery and workflow using Figma, Jira and Workfront, balancing strategy and execution across multiple priorities while maintaining high standards of accuracy, governance and customer focus.
