THE DIFFERENCE YOU MAKE
Mortgage Homes Direct is looking for a Mortgage Enquiry Team Manager (MECTM) based out of Bradford on a permanent basis.
The Mortgage Enquiry Team Manager supports colleagues as part of the first stage of the Homes Direct Mortgage Process and will consist of working closely with both the Mortgage Relationship and Mortgage Advisor teams to offer the customer a seamless Mortgage experience through the coaching and development of a team of up to12 Mortgage Enquiry Consultants (MECs).

- Coaching, leading, motivating and developing a team of Advisors, ensuring they are both skilled and motivated to deliver performance in line with OKR expectations (Required)
- Ensuring the quality delivery of brand value promises, and analyse and ensure responsive resolution to problems that impact on service and or the customer experience (Required)
- Demonstrating a track record for proactively identifying and developing business improvement initiatives and sharing these with key stakeholders within the business area (Required)
- Identifying, assessing and resolution of operational risks in line with Company audit, regulatory processes and functions, escalating and resolving where necessary.

Professional Experience
- Demonstratable experience in managing and coaching others, as well as managing MI and analysing data to support achieve a High-Performance Culture (Required)
- A proven understanding of relevant policy/regulatory and legislative issues; Mortgage and Lending policy knowledge (Required)
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to be able to deliver key messages in a clear and concise manner (Required)
- A positive and proactive attitude and passion to support and help customers with their Mortgage needs. (Required)
Hard Skills
- Working knowledge of desktop applications including Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint (Preferred)
- Good understanding of Mortgage Policy and Process and the systems that are used to process applications (Preferred)
- Experience of working with Mortgage Teams (Preferred)
Soft Skills
- Excellent interpersonal, communication and empathic skills at all levels (Preferred)
- Experience of working in a customer-focused environment (Preferred)
- Effective team working skills with a flexible, can-do approach to work (Preferred)
- The ability to deliver messages to a wide range of stakeholders adapting the communication to the audience accordingly (Preferred)

Salary Range:
£28,867.00 - £43,301.00 per annum (depending on experience)
This salary range represents the expected remuneration for the role. Annual salary is based on a standard 35-hour working week. Actual salary offered will depend on skills, experience, qualifications and location.
