We are seeking a skilled MRI Technologist to perform diagnostic MRI exams, ensuring high-quality imaging in collaboration with healthcare professionals.
Key Responsibilities Include
- Maintaining ARRT or equivalent competency in clinical and technical functions.
- Preparing patients, verifying orders, and ensuring accurate, quality images.
- Adhering to safety guidelines, infection control, and sterile techniques.
- Providing patient education, comfort, and addressing concerns.
- Operating imaging equipment, reviewing images, and documenting procedures.
- Assisting and instructing staff and students in protocols and procedures.
- Following protocols for coding, reporting, and equipment maintenance.
- ARRT(MR) or ARMRIT certification; BLS certification required.
- Proficiency in anatomy, image evaluation, equipment operation, and contrast protocols.
- Strong communication, teamwork, and independent work skills.
- Physical ability to lift, move patients, and operate equipment in a busy environment.
- Preferred: 1-2 years MRI experience and a bachelor’s degree.
- Work hours are from 8pm-6am on a 7 on, 7 off schedule.
- May be hired as Level I or II based on experience and qualifications.
