Job Summary: In this role, you will report to the M&T Manager of Quality (MoQ) and lead the implementation and audit activities of the M&T Global Business Unit (GBU) quality program. You will review and report applicable new or revised regulatory requirements, monitor non-conforming conditions, and determine the sufficiency of identified and completed corrective actions. Your quality assurance leadership, actions and recommendations will support the resolution of quality issues and mitigate quality performance risks. The position implements the GBU-level audit program defined in the M&T GBU Quality Procedures Master Index, including GBU Management Reviews, Project and Functional Management Audits, Corporate Audits, and ISO 9001 certification and re-certification audits. Major Responsibilities: Performs the role of M&T Lead Auditor for the M&T Global Business Unit (GBU) Reviews, reports, and assures compliance with quality requirements, procedures, manuals, and design requirements Performs GBU-level trend analysis of audit findings, nonconforming conditions, and corrective action effectiveness, and reports the results to GBU Management Review Owns and issues the annual M&T GBU audit and surveillance schedule, integrating corporate audit requirements, ISO 9001 certification and re-certification cycles, client and regulatory commitments, and project execution milestones across the GBU portfolio Serves as the subject matter expert for audit methodology across the GBU, maintaining consistency of audit planning, execution, and reporting with approved GBU quality procedures Prepares and completes quality audit plans, checklists, and supervises and conducts quality audits of quality programs, plans, and procedures including, as needed. Reviews and monitors nonconforming conditions and associated corrective actions to ensure quality program compliance Prepares and reviews quality procedures and plans for issuance in accordance with approved processes Provides input into the development of standardized metrics and responds to engineering, construction, procurement, and others who request guidance on implementation of quality requirements Represents the GBU during quality assurance audits by corporate audits, external registrars, or regulatory agencies Prepares reports on the effectiveness of the quality program/plan implementation Supervises and participates in the GBU auditing and monitoring program to verify the effectiveness of the quality management system (QMS) Implements the lead auditor qualification and certification programSources auditors from corporations or other GBUs to support M&T audits, as approved by the MoQ. Education and Experience Requirements: Requires bachelor's degree (or international equivalent) and 10-13 years of relevant experience or 14-17 years of relevant work experience Required Knowledge and Skills: Extensive knowledge of ISO 9001 assessment requirements Demonstrated extensive experience in leading assessments and supervising teams throughout their full project life cycle Extensive knowledge of Quality Assurance Requirements, and their application to construction, engineering, acquisition services, supplier quality, materials management, and regulatory requirements. Demonstrated proficiency in implementation and management of quality assurance programs Demonstrated knowledge of engineering, supply chain, construction industry application of quality assurance standards Knowledge of advanced techniques for assessment, event investigation, cause analysis, human performance, and corrective action Proven record of senior level interface management, including interfacing with external registrars, Corporate Quality, senior customer quality representatives and project managers. Demonstrated knowledge of design, procurement, construction, start-up, commissioning, and operations Demonstrated knowledge of current engineering, supply chain, construction industry trends, innovations, and regulatory quality requirements for industry Successful track record of leading teams in complex environments Integrated Lead Auditor certification from an accredited body Previous experience in development and maintenance of quality assurance programs related to the engineering, supply chain, construction of industrial facilities Flexibility to coordinate with MoQ on responses to urgent requests from projects, GBU or Corporate and/or changing priorities. Ability to work under pressure and with minimal supervision Demonstrated ability to work with people of varied backgrounds and objectives.
