WHAT DO WE OFFER?

We know exceptional emergency medicine starts with exceptional people. This overnight opportunity offers starting pay of $25-$30/hour depending on experience, plus an additional $5/hour overnight shift differential. We also offer a generous sign-on bonus program, including $5,000 for technicians with 1-5 years of experience, $7,500 for technicians with 5-10 years of experience, and $10,000 for technicians with 10+ years of experience or prior ER experience. YOUR CONTRIBUTIONS MATTER AS OUR NIGHT SHIFT EMERGENCY ROOM VET TECHNICIAN

When you join our ER vet clinic, you'll play a vital role in helping pets receive life-saving care during their most critical moments. Throughout your shift, you'll triage incoming emergency patients, collaborate with veterinarians to develop treatment plans, administer IV therapy, provide wound care, assist with feeding tube management, perform detailed patient assessments, place catheters, collect laboratory samples, and assist with blood and plasma transfusions while ensuring every patient is treated with compassion and care. You'll utilize advanced technologies including digital radiography, ultrasound imaging, anesthesia equipment, ventilation support, endoscopy, CT, and dialysis while continuously expanding your knowledge in emergency and critical care medicine. You'll also perform in-house diagnostics such as CBCs, blood gas analyses, and cytology testing while providing compassionate communication and education to clients during patient discharge.

WORK SCHEDULE

• Full-time position
• Typical schedule consists of 3 shifts per week
• Overnight schedule
• Additional $5/hour overnight shift differential
• Weekend availability preferred

WHAT'S REQUIRED TO BE OUR NIGHT SHIFT EMERGENCY ROOM VET TECHNICIAN?

• Graduation from an AVMA-accredited veterinary technology program
• Advanced technical skills in digital radiography, ultrasound imaging, IDEXX lab equipment, anesthetic ventilation, endoscopy, CT, dialysis, and ventilation

One of the following is required:

• Veterinary technology certification or licensure

• Experience working in a veterinary practice or emergency veterinary medicine

Preference will be given to candidates who can work overnight and weekend shifts.
