Seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Internal Medicine or Family Medicine physician to serve as a Nocturnist in a hospital-based role.
Responsibilities include providing high-quality overnight inpatient care, evaluating and admitting patients, managing acute medical conditions, and responding to patient status changes.
Work collaboratively with nursing, emergency medicine, specialists, and care teams to ensure seamless patient care during night shifts.
The role emphasizes collaboration, communication, and a supportive work environment, with a manageable workflow supported by experienced APP coverage and fewer shifts annually compared to national averages.
The ideal candidate is eligible for Virginia medical licensure and has completed or is completing Board Certification in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine.
