Role Overview
Seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join an urgent care team, diagnosing and treating common medical issues such as sore throats, earaches, sinus infections, flu, and urinary tract infections. The role includes performing routine health exams, immunizations, screenings, and wellness services.
Responsibilities & Benefits
Operate autonomously with limited administrative tasks, work in comfort with scrub attire, and access a wide network of resources and specialists. Enjoy a balanced schedule with no overnight shifts, no mandatory additional shifts, and work every other weekend. Participate in call duties approximately six nights per year and observe six holidays. The position offers a $10k recruitment incentive, benefits including a robust 401(k), CME allowances, relocation support, and opportunities for academic advancement.
Qualifications & Experience
Candidates must have a Master's Degree in Nursing or completion of an ARC-PA approved PA program, NCCPA certification or eligibility, and licensure in Pennsylvania. A minimum of six months of experience in primary care, emergency medicine, urgent care, or critical care is required, with ability to treat patients from age one and older.
