Applications are invited from qualified individuals for a 100% full-time open rank, tenure-track professor position in Organizational Behavior within the Department of Business Administration. We define organizational behavior broadly to include micro, meso, macro, and cross level concerns. We are interested in candidates who will bring excellence to campus via outstanding research, teaching, and service. Qualified candidates will have completed, or be completing, a Ph.D. in Organizational Behavior, Management or a related discipline. An ability and openness to teach courses at graduate and undergraduate levels and experience with different delivery formats is desirable.

The Department of Business Administration includes the Organizational Behavior faculty, which is a diverse and growing part of the Gies College of Business. It functions alongside Strategic Management, Entrepreneurship, International Business, and Business Law faculty, as well as Accountancy, Finance, Marketing, and Information Systems, Supply Chain, and Operations Management faculty within the College. SPECIFIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Maintain an active and productive program of organizational research
- Teach at the graduate and undergraduate levels.
- Perform service for the department.
- Provide leadership in the department and the university.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- Candidates at advanced ranks must possess a Ph.D. degree; candidates for assistant professor should expect to have completed their doctoral degree by June 1, 2027.
- Strong research portfolio.
- Demonstrated teaching effectiveness.
- Leadership potential commensurate with position sought.
SALARY AND APPOINTMENT INFORMATION
This is a 9-month, 100%-time academic tenure-track position with the opportunity for summer appointment. The expected start date is August 16, 2027.
The budgeted salary range for this position is $200,000-$220,000 at the Assistant Professor level or $210,000-$240,000 at the Associate Professor level, and $230,000-$280,000 at the Professor level. The pay offered to the selected candidate will be determined based on factors including (but not limited to) the experience and qualifications of the selected candidate including equivalent years in rank, training, and field or discipline; internal equity; and external market pay for comparable jobs.
This position is eligible for visa sponsorship except for sponsorship of a new H1B petition that would incur the $100,000 fee.
