Leads the strategic functional direction of Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) at global scale, ensuring cross-module alignment, process standardization, and a scalable long-term ERP roadmap. Acts as the functional design authority, translating business priorities into platform strategy and delivery.

This role will require regular onsite presence in Ohio, and the client offers a very generous relocation package.

Strategic Governance & Platform Direction
- Own the strategic direction and evolution of Oracle EBS functional domains.
- Drive global process, data, and solution convergence across regions and business units.
- Translate business strategy into a coherent, scalable ERP roadmap.
- Anticipate future business needs and shape the platform roadmap accordingly.
Prioritization & Demand Management
- Own prioritization of Oracle EBS capabilities, balancing business needs, dependencies, and transformation objectives.
- Assess and refine demand to ensure alignment with strategic and architectural standards.
- Resolve competing priorities across regions and functions using consistent decision frameworks.
Design Authority & Solution Oversight
- Lead feasibility assessments, high-level solution design, and functional governance.
- Review proposed solutions and enhancements for scalability, platform integrity, and cross-module impact.
- Assess the long-term implications of design decisions and minimize technical debt.
Roadmap & Delivery Governance
- Govern functional roadmaps, scope, and delivery plans for EBS enhancements.
- Monitor delivery of configuration changes, functional enhancements, and releases.
- Ensure milestones, scope, and outcomes align with agreed requirements and acceptance criteria.
Qualifications
Experience
- 8–10 years of experience in Oracle EBS product ownership, functional leadership, or global process governance.
- Enterprise-scale experience managing Oracle EBS modules and cross-module dependencies.
- Proven experience managing complex backlogs and balancing global, functional, and technical priorities.
- Experience working across geographically distributed, matrixed organizations.
Education
- Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related discipline, or equivalent experience.
Technical Skills
- Strong understanding of Oracle EBS architecture, module interactions, and integration patterns.
- Ability to assess functional impacts, dependencies, and long-term design implications.
- Experience with EBS configuration, release management, and upgrade planning.
- Knowledge of ERP data models, process harmonization, and convergence methodologies.
Services Operations
- Strong understanding of end-to-end service operations, including contracts, field service, installed base, repair, warranty, and entitlement processes.
- Ability to translate business requirements into functional specifications and ERP solutions.
- Familiarity with service revenue recognition, preventive maintenance, SLAs, workforce management, and spare parts processes.
Communication & Leadership
- Able to communicate complex technical and functional trade-offs to senior stakeholders.
- Strong consensus-building and stakeholder management skills.
- Proven ability to drive alignment across regions and functions without direct authority.
