Role and Responsibilities: Seeking a BE/BC Orthopaedic Foot & Ankle Surgeon to join a busy, collegial, faith-based practice. The surgeon will perform most surgical care at a medical center, with some cases at a nearby facility. Responsibilities include providing expert orthopaedic foot and ankle care, contributing to a team of over 16 surgeons, 4 Physician Assistants, and training 25 residents in a teaching environment.
Qualifications and Skills: Candidates must be board-certified or eligible in orthopaedics, with a passion for teaching. Strong surgical skills, teamwork, and dedication to patient care are essential.
Key Duties: Deliver high-quality surgical and clinical care, participate in resident education, and collaborate within a multidisciplinary team.
Compensation & Benefits: Total annual compensation ranges from $450,000 to $550,000, including variable pay based on effort and experience. Benefits include a generous retirement plan, comprehensive medical/dental coverage, vacation and sick leave, CME funds, relocation assistance, paid malpractice and life insurance, and federal student loan forgiveness programs. A California residency is required, and the role is not eligible for a Conrad 30 waiver.
