Packaging Engineer - Environmentally-Friendly Food Packaging Manufacturing

Location: Pleasant Prairie, Wisconsin

Well-established and busy Eco-Friendly Food Packaging Manufacturer seeking a hands-on Packaging Engineer to develop folding carton designs and produce physical samples. This role works with sales, customers, and production to create functional, cost-effective packaging from concept through manufacturing. This is a full-time, on-site position in Pleasant Prairie, Wisconsin. Relocation assistance is available.

Responsibilities

• Design folding cartons and create die-lines using ArtiosCAD.
• Build and refine packaging samples and prototypes.
• Evaluate materials, fit, structural performance, and manufacturability.
• Prepare accurate drawings and specifications for production.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in ArtiosCAD.
• Experience in folding carton design and hands-on sample making.
• Understanding of paperboard materials, die cutting, folding, and gluing.
• Strong attention to detail, problem-solving, and communication skills.

This is a direct-hire, long term career opportunity with a progressive and growing organization, the starting base pay range is $75K-$95K (doe) plus benefits.
