Role Overview: The Pediatrician provides outpatient, newborn nursery, and minimal inpatient and delivery care within a hospital-employed setting.

Responsibilities: Manage a patient load of 20-25 in-office patients daily, see 40-50 new patients monthly, and collaborate with a team including physicians, APPs, and support staff. Utilize on-site lab services, provide lactation consulting, and deliver comprehensive pediatric care in a rural health clinic environment.
Key Duties: Maintain standard office hours with flexible options, share call duties, and serve the local community across Galax and surrounding counties. Provide care in outpatient clinics, newborn nursery, and limited inpatient settings.

Qualifications & Skills: Board certification in pediatrics, excellent communication skills, and ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
