About The Position

Our client is seeking an experienced Manager: People and Culture to lead the organisations people, culture and industrial relations functions across its regional operations. Reporting directly to the CEO, this role will provide both strategic and operational leadership across recruitment, payroll, learning and development, WH&S, quality, compliance and administration.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the People & Culture function, providing strategic and operational advice to the CEO and management team.
  • Oversee recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, industrial relations, payroll, L&D and performance management.
  • Develop and implement engagement, retention, wellbeing and organisational development strategies.
  • Ensure compliance across employment legislation, awards, WH&S and organisational policies.
  • Lead the People & Culture team and support consistent practices across regional sites.
  • Manage employee issues, grievances, investigations, WorkCover and return-to-work processes.

Experience Required

  • Bachelors degree or higher in Human Resources or a related discipline.
  • Minimum 5 years experience in a managerial-level HR/People & Culture role.

Strong knowledge of employment legislation, industrial awards and employee relations.

  • Proven experience providing strategic HR advice and implementing people and organisational strategies.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, problem-solving and stakeholder management skills.
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities.
