Pest Control Technician – Saudi Arabia
Salary: SAR 5,000 per month + Benefits
We are seeking an experienced and knowledgeable Pest Control Technician to join a prestigious ultra-luxury private hospitality operation in Saudi Arabia.
The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting pest inspections, identifying pest activity, implementing appropriate treatment programmes and maintaining high standards of hygiene, safety and environmental compliance.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct regular pest-control inspections across residential, hospitality and operational areas.
- Identify different types of pests and determine appropriate treatment methods.
- Implement effective pest-control and prevention programmes.
- Apply Integrated Pest Management (IPM) principles.
- Safely handle, mix, store and apply pest-control chemicals in accordance with approved procedures.
- Follow SDS/MSDS requirements and chemical safety procedures.
- Identify the root causes of pest activity and recommend appropriate corrective and preventive measures.
- Carry out routine monitoring, inspections and preventive treatments.
- Maintain accurate records of inspections, treatments, chemical usage and pest activity.
- Respond promptly to pest-control incidents and operational requirements.
- Ensure treatments are carried out with minimum disruption to residents, guests and operations.
- Maintain strict hygiene, health, safety and environmental standards.
- Use pest-control equipment safely and maintain equipment in good working condition.
- Report recurring issues, risks and recommendations to management.
- Maintain confidentiality and professional conduct when working in sensitive and high-profile environments.
- Relevant professional pest-control experience.
- Strong knowledge of pest identification and appropriate treatment methods.
- Good understanding of Integrated Pest Management (IPM).
- Knowledge of safe chemical handling, storage and application methods.
- Familiarity with SDS/MSDS requirements.
- Strong awareness of workplace health, safety, hygiene and environmental requirements.
- Ability to conduct detailed inspections and identify the root causes of pest problems.
- Ability to recommend and implement appropriate corrective and preventive measures.
- Good attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills.
- Reliable, disciplined and able to work independently.
- Experience in luxury hospitality, private residences, high-end residential properties or other high-standard environments is strongly preferred.
A technical interview and/or practical assessment should be conducted as part of the selection process to verify the candidate's actual field knowledge, technical capability and practical pest-control experience.
