Pharmaceutical Technology Officer - Analytical - Malta Based

PharOS is seeking for a Pharmaceutical Technology Officer -Analytical as follows:

Key Responsibilities

• Executes analytical validation and/or transfer activities to ensure the successful transfer and maintenance of all analytical procedures in accordance with company and GMP standards.
• Supports the Pharmaceutical Technology Specialist – Analytical in the evaluation, planning, review and reporting of analytical validation and/or transfer activities to ensure the successful transfer and maintenance of all analytical procedures in accordance with company and GMP standards.
• Aids in issuing and checking of Analytical Methodology, Analytical Specifications, Submission, Process
• Optimisation, Validation and Cleaning Validation documents, in accordance with company and GMP standards.
• Carries out sampling, analysis of samples, and documentation of the analytical procedures performed according to cGLP and standards.
• Ensures GMP compliance as per local procedures, and EU Eudralex Volume 4 GMP guidelines.
• Ensures compliance with established procedures relevant to the EHS management system in line with the organization’s policies, procedures, international standards and local and EU regulations in the daily operation of the Department.
• Is responsible for maintaining a high standard of GLP, good housekeeping and hygiene in the laboratories.
• Ensures that the equipment is calibrated before use.
• Reviews the documentation performed before sign-off.
• Reports immediately any Out of specification results, Out of trend results, abnormal results/observations, deviations from methods / procedures, and equipment breakages/malfunction.

Requirements

• Bachelor degree in a science background or at least 2 A-Level qualifications including Chemistry or MCAST diploma or a number of years experience in an analytical laboratory environment in the Pharma industry.
• Ideally 1-2 years experience in analytical processes related to the manufacturing of solid oral doses.
• A good understanding of analytical equipment and analytical validation.
