Non-Invasive Cardiologist | St. Lawrence Region, Northern New York

Build Your Practice and Help Grow Cardiovascular Care in Northern New York

Rochester Regional Health and St. Lawrence Health are seeking a Non-Invasive Cardiologist to join our growing cardiovascular program in Northern New York.

Serving approximately 300,000 people across a 60-70 mile radius, the St. Lawrence Region has significant demand for cardiovascular care. Join an established, busy practice of four cardiologists, with a goal of growing the regional team to six, while helping expand access to cardiovascular care across the North Country.

Here, you’ll experience the relationships and autonomy of community-based medicine with the clinical resources and connectivity of Rochester Regional Health and the Sands-Constellation Heart Institute.

Why This Opportunity Stands Out

  • Join an established four-cardiologist practice with strong patient demand and plans for continued growth
  • Help expand cardiovascular services as St. Lawrence works to strengthen its role as a regional medical center
  • Practice within a growing program with access to cardiac MRI, FFR, echocardiography, nuclear cardiology and an upgraded critical care environment, with additional cardiac capabilities in development
  • Stay connected to tertiary cardiovascular specialists throughout Rochester Regional Health
  • Shared 1:4 call, consisting primarily of phone consultation with Emergency Department and Hospital Medicine physicians
  • Competitive $500,000-$700,000 base salary, plus sign-on bonus and relocation assistance
  • Visa sponsorship opportunities available

Your Practice & Opportunity to Grow

You’ll step into an established practice with significant patient demand while having the opportunity to help shape the continued growth of cardiovascular care across the region.

Your practice will include:

  • Full-spectrum non-invasive cardiology across outpatient and inpatient settings
  • Echocardiography, nuclear cardiology, stress testing and EKG interpretation
  • Regional cardiovascular outreach
  • Collaboration with Primary Care, Hospital Medicine, Emergency Medicine, Critical Care and other specialties
  • Primary clinical locations at Canton-Potsdam Hospital and Massena Hospital

Beyond your clinical practice, you’ll have the opportunity to strengthen regional referral relationships, expand access to non-invasive cardiovascular care, and bring your clinical interests and ideas to a community with significant cardiovascular needs.

Community Practice with System-Level Connectivity

Practice in a collaborative community environment while remaining connected to the Sands-Constellation Heart Institute and cardiovascular specialists across Rochester Regional Health, including interventional cardiology, structural heart, electrophysiology, advanced cardiac imaging, heart failure and cardiothoracic surgery.

You can also remain academically and professionally engaged through Cardiology Grand Rounds, multidisciplinary cardiovascular conferences, educational activities and system-wide collaboration.
