At NorthBay Health the Board Certified, Licensed ENT/Otolaryngologist will practice in our highly regarded health system in Northern California. NorthBay Health’s Ear, Nose & Throat evaluates and treats patients of all ages with conditions affecting the ears, nose, throat & sinuses. Our board-certified team of otolaryngologists, speech therapists and audiologists will provide a comprehensive evaluation and then employ a variety of treatments including medication, advanced diagnostic procedures and surgery to ensure a personalized care plan for the ultimate wellbeing of our adult and pediatric patients. Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00a.m. to 5:00p,m. (Dedicated procedure and administrative time.) Call Ratio: shared call, 1:4 or minimum 7 days per month per 1.0 FTE Daily Patient Census: 18 + Equipment/Resources: Operating microscope, 2 towers for nasal/sinus scopes, and ultrasound Provider Support: Collaborative team of physicians and Advanced Practice Providers (APPs) Primary Responsibilities: Evaluate, diagnose, and treat conditions affecting the ears, nose, throat, sinuses, larynx, head, and neck. Perform medical and surgical procedures related to otolaryngology, including outpatient and inpatient procedures as appropriate. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for patients with acute and chronic ENT conditions. Conduct comprehensive patient examinations, review medical histories, and interpret diagnostic studies and imaging results. Manage disorders such as hearing loss, sinus disease, allergies, sleep apnea, voice disorders, thyroid/parathyroid disease, head and neck masses, and related conditions. Provide pre-operative and post-operative care and patient education. Collaborate with primary care providers, specialists, audiologists, speech therapists, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care. Collaborate with and supervise APPs to enhance patient care Maintain timely and accurate documentation within the electronic medical record (EMR) system. Participate in call coverage and hospital rounding as assigned. Actively participate in hospital/clinic initiatives and committees to include quality improvement initiatives, continuing medical education, and departmental meetings. MD or DO degree Board-certified in Otolaryngology Licensed to practice medicine in the state Proven experience in Otolaryngology procedures Excellent diagnostic and problem-solving skills Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment Physical Effort and Working Conditions: Attendance is an essential function of the job.
