Relocating to our region:

  • Intrastate (over 100kms) - up to $2,500
  • Interstate - up to $5,000
  • Overseas - up to $8,000

About the Role

Join GV Health's Rural Allied Health Team (RAHT), a highly regarded multidisciplinary team known for its supportive culture and commitment to providing high-quality care to the community.

This is an excellent opportunity for both early career and experienced Physiotherapists looking to develop their skills in a diverse and rewarding role. Working alongside experienced clinicians, you'll receive comprehensive orientation, and professional support while enjoying the autonomy to manage your own caseload.

RAHT provides Dietetics, Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy, Podiatry, Social Work and Speech Pathology services, supported by Allied Health Assistants. Our Physiotherapists work with clients across the Goulburn Valley in home and clinic settings, helping people maintain their independence, mobility, safety and quality of life. The role does not include residential aged care work.

As a Physiotherapist with RAHT, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Work across the Goulburn Valley region in a mix of home and clinic-based settings.
  • Build meaningful relationships with clients, families and carers to support independence and wellbeing.
  • Assess and manage mobility, strength, balance and functional concerns.
  • Develop tailored exercise programs, prescribe aids and equipment.
  • Deliver individual interventions and a future opportunity for group-based interventions.
  • Support clients to achieve their goals and remain living independently in their own homes.
  • Work with a broad range of health conditions and presentations across the adult and older person's population.
  • Contribute to student education and clinical supervision opportunities.
  • Participate in service development, innovation and quality improvement initiatives.

We are looking for a Physiotherapists with:

  • A Bachelor of Applied Science (Physiotherapy) or equivalent qualification.
  • Current registration as a Physiotherapist with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
  • Experience, or an interest in developing expertise, in delivering physiotherapy services within home, clinic and community settings.
  • Strong assessment, clinical reasoning and care planning skills.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and report-writing skills.
  • Sound computer literacy and electronic documentation skills.
  • A commitment to person-centred care and supporting clients to achieve their goals
