We are currently hiring on behalf of our clients for the following position:

Position: Plant Controller

Location: Corsicana, TX

Employment Type: Full-Time

Experience: 5+

We are seeking an experienced Plant Accountant to support financial operations at a chemical manufacturing facility. This role will work closely with the Plant Controller and plant leadership on cost accounting, financial reporting, budgeting, and operational cost analysis.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage manufacturing cost accounting, financial reporting, and variance analysis.
• Monitor inventory accuracy, product costing, and production expenses.
• Support month-end close, journal entries, accruals, and account reconciliations.
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and cost improvement initiatives.
• Partner with plant leadership to identify cost efficiencies and support business decisions.
• Ensure compliance with GAAP, SOX controls, and internal financial policies.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field.
• 5+ years of cost accounting experience in a manufacturing environment.
• SAP experience in GL, Costing, Procurement, and Inventory preferred.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and strong analytical abilities.
• CPA or CMA certification is a plus.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.

Additional Details:

• Onsite position with minimal travel (less than 5%).
• Overtime may be required during month-end close, budget deadlines, or special projects.
• Limited relocation assistance of $5,000.
