What You'll Do As The Plant Manager
- Lead overall plant operations and drive safety, quality, productivity, and performance.
- Develop, motivate, and hold your team accountable for results.
- Optimize processes to improve efficiency and operational excellence.
- Manage operational budgets and plant financial performance.
- Build strong employee relationships and foster teamwork throughout the operation.
- Provide hands-on leadership while maintaining autonomy to make key plant decisions.
What We Are Looking For In The Plant Manager
- Minimum 7 years of Plant Manager or Superintendent experience in wood manufacturing or similar heavy industry.
- Strong background in plywood, OSB, EWP, particle board, veneer, or related wood manufacturing.
- Bachelor’s Degree or at least 15 years of wood industry experience.
- Strong financial acumen and operational budgeting experience.
- Lean manufacturing experience is a major plus.
- Exceptional leadership, organization, and decision-making skills.
