You’ll take ownership of machine overhauls, diagnostics, repairs, and component rebuilds within our workshop, ensuring every machine leaves safe, reliable, and ready for peak performance. What you’ll do Strip, assess, rebuild and reassemble CAT machines and major components to OEM standards Conduct inspections, diagnostics and quality assurance checks throughout the rebuild process Complete workshop maintenance, repairs and rebuild activities in line with production schedules and customer requirements Maintain a clean, safe and efficient workshop environment while working collaboratively with Supervisors and peers What you’ll bring Australian‑recognised mechanical trade (e.g., Cert III HD Plant) Proven rebuilds/major component overhaul/assembly experience CAT or comparable surface mining gear; strong diagnostics/fault‑finding Proactive, safety‑first mindset; unrestricted driver’s licence Why Join WesTrac?
