In This Role You Will
- Maintain our Bazel build infrastructure to run smoothly at all times.
- Maintain and improve our Nix robot deployment platform and development environment to enable predictable ML experiments.
- Design, implement, and maintain robust CI/CD pipelines including HITL to accelerate software delivery.
- Architect and scale Kubernetes and Ray clusters to power our training, evaluation, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Manage and scale cloud infrastructure (AWS) to support our robotic software stack.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to optimize system performance and reliability.
- Monitor system health and respond to incidents to ensure high availability.
- Strong proficiency running Bazel infrastructure.
- Proven experience with cloud infrastructure (AWS/GCP) and infrastructure-as-code tools like Terraform and Nix.
- Experience with building, maintaining and running embedded Linux.
- Experience managing scalable production environments and troubleshooting complex system issues.
- Solid understanding of networking, security best practices, and monitoring tools.
- Fluent in English (spoken and written), with strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Experience managing high-performance computing (HPC) clusters.
- Proficiency in building and maintaining large-scale data pipelines for machine learning workflows.
- Proficiency in container orchestration using Kubernetes.
- Background in robotics software development or hardware-software integration.
- Familiarity with Rust, C++ and Python.
