THE DIFFERENCE YOU MAKE The Everyday Banking team in Retail Banking are looking for a PMO Manager based out of Milton Keynes, other primary head office location will be considered. This role is a 12 month FTC/Secondment. This opportunity is being advertised as part of Santander's Internal Mobility Programme . As a PMO Manager, you'll play a pivotal role in enabling the successful delivery of complex change initiatives by overseeing governance, planning, reporting, resource management, risk and dependency management across multiple projects and workstreams. You'll collaborate closely with Programme Managers, Workstream Leads and senior stakeholders to ensure change activity remains aligned to strategic objectives and is delivered effectively. To succeed in this role, you will be responsible for: Leading PMO activities across programmes and workstreams, ensuring robust governance and control frameworks are in place. Driving planning, prioritisation, resource management and delivery tracking to support successful change execution. Producing high-quality programme reporting, management information and executive updates for stakeholders and governance forums. Managing programme risks, issues, actions and dependencies, ensuring timely escalation and resolution. Supporting programme budgeting, forecasting and financial tracking activities. Building strong relationships with stakeholders across projects, programmes and business functions. Providing challenge, insight and recommendations to improve programme performance and delivery outcomes. Supporting continuous improvement of PMO standards, processes and ways of working. Professional Experience Proven experience within PMO, project management, programme management or change delivery environments (Required) Experience managing governance, reporting, planning, risks, issues and dependencies across complex initiatives (Required) Experience supporting large-scale transformation programmes within a complex organisation (Preferred) Education Degree-level qualification or equivalent professional experience (Preferred) PRINCE2 Practitioner, P3O, PMO Certification or equivalent qualification (Preferred) Hard Skills PMO governance, controls and reporting (Required) Project and programme planning methodologies including Agile and Waterfall (Required) Risk, issue, dependency and resource management (Required) Budget tracking and management information reporting (Preferred) Advanced Excel, PowerPoint and reporting tools (Preferred) Soft Skills Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills (Required) Strong analytical and problem-solving capability (Required) Effective communication and presentation skills (Required) Ability to challenge constructively and drive accountability (Required) Strong organisational skills and attention to detail (Required) WE VALUE YOUR IMPACT At Santander, your contribution matters. Salary Range: £49,274.00 - £73,912.00 per annum (depending on experience) This salary range represents the expected remuneration for the role. Annual salary is based on a standard 35-hour working week. Actual salary offered will depend on skills, experience, qualifications and location.
