About the Opportunity

We are seeking a compassionate and patient-focused Internal Medicine or Family Medicine Physician to join a well-established outpatient primary care practice serving a diverse patient population in New York, NY. This is an excellent opportunity for a physician who is passionate about providing high-quality, comprehensive care while building long-term patient relationships.

The ideal candidate must be fluent in Mandarin Chinese and comfortable caring for a predominantly Chinese-speaking patient population.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive primary care services to adult and/or family medicine patients.
• Conduct physical examinations, preventive health screenings, and routine wellness visits.
• Diagnose and treat acute and chronic medical conditions.
• Develop individualized treatment plans and coordinate ongoing patient care.
• Prescribe medications and monitor treatment effectiveness.
• Educate patients on disease prevention, health maintenance, and lifestyle modifications.
• Review laboratory and diagnostic test results and communicate findings to patients.
• Maintain accurate and timely EMR documentation.
• Collaborate with specialists, advanced practice providers, and clinical staff to ensure continuity of care.

Qualifications

Required

• MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school.
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine.
• Active and unrestricted New York medical license or eligibility to obtain licensure.
• DEA registration or eligibility.
• Fluency in Mandarin Chinese and English.
• Strong interpersonal and patient communication skills.

Preferred

• Prior outpatient primary care experience.
• Experience serving multicultural and diverse patient populations.
• Knowledge of value-based care and preventive medicine.
