Principal Algorithm Research Engineer

Working location: Hanoi, VietNam. Preference will be given to Vietnamese candidates.

1. Job Description:

Directly conduct research and develop algorithms for key high-tech product projects in the Military and Telecommunications sectors, including UAVs, radar systems, and 5G/6G technologies.

+) Review, analyze, and evaluate algorithms proposed in technical references in order to select the most appropriate solutions that meet the requirements of the assigned problem.

+) Propose new algorithms with improved performance compared to existing approaches described in the relevant literature, ensuring that they effectively address the problem requirements.

+) Optimize algorithms and solutions based on defined technical specifications to ensure suitability for the intended application and compliance with customer requirements.

+) Contribute to technology strategy development and conduct research into emerging and forward-looking algorithm technologies for application in future products.

2. Job Requirements:

- Master or PhD in Electronics / Information Technology / Artificial Intelligence or related fields.

- At least 7 years of continuous experience in algorithm research.

- Hands-on experience working with real-world systems, with a solid understanding of the relationship between theory and practice.

- Strong ability to read and comprehend existing algorithms from reference materials (including textbooks and scientific papers).

- Good programming skills to perform preliminary evaluation and validation of proposed algorithms.

- In-depth knowledge of relevant domains and strong problem-solving capabilities.

- Solid foundation in advanced mathematics and applied mathematics.

Preferred Candidates:

• Head of department/laboratory or equivalent in universities, research institutes, or global R&D organizations in similar domains.
• Experience leading research teams, national key laboratories, or reputable academic/scientific institutions.

• Up to $10,000++/month for Expert
• Up to $6,000++/month for Principal Engineer
